Blairadam Public Exhibitions

Following on from the submission of a scoping report to Fife Council earlier this year, Partnerships for Renewables and Forestry Commission Scotland are holding public exhibitions in early December to discuss the potential renewable energy project in Blairadam Forest.

Having carried out extensive feasibility work and received some responses on the scoping report, Partnerships for Renewables is continuing its work on Blairadam near Kelty. During the exhibitions, the local community will be presented with key information including potential local viewpoints and will have the opportunity to ask questions to the development team.

Craig Mullen, Communications Manager at Partnerships for Renewables, said: “There is still some way to go before any planning submission and we still have some studies to complete. These events will be the first in a series over the coming months and we are keen to keep the local community informed of the results of our work so far and consult on any questions they may have on our development process.”

The events, which members of the public can drop into at anytime, will take place on:

Monday 3 December 2012 between 3.15pm and 8.15pm

Kelty Community Centre

Main Street

Wednesday 5 December 2012 between 2pm and 8pm

Cleish Village Hall

KY13 0LR

The exhibition materials can be viewed on this website from Monday 3 December.

Anyone who is unable to attend the public exhibition can contact or by phone 0800 731 7395.
