Partnerships for Renewables and Forestry Commission Scotland are holding further public exhibitions later this month to show their plans for the potential renewable energy project in Blairadam Forest. During the exhibitions, the local community will be presented with key information including potential local viewpoints and will have the opportunity to ask questions to the development team.

Craig Mullen, Communications Manager at Partnerships for Renewables, said: “Since the previous exhibitions held in December last year, we have made a number of changes to the scheme and we want to show these before any planning application is submitted. We are keen to keep the local community informed of the results of our work so far and consult on any questions they may have on our development process.”

The events will also give an opportunity for groups to hear about the potential community investment opportunity and the benefit fund that will be established should the development be consented.

The events, which members of the public can drop into at anytime, will take place on:
