Timeline

It can take more than three years to design, consent and construct even the simplest commercial scale renewable development. A typical project timeline is shown below.

Partnerships for Renewables and the Environment Agency are reviewing a number of potential sites and working to establish the suitability of sites for renewable energy development.

Throughout the development process we constantly gather information to feed into the design of a project. If at any stage it becomes apparent that a site is not suitable for development, we stop work on the site.
