Partnerships for Renewables and Forestry Commission Scotland recognise that local communities can sometimes feel detached from the  planning system and can be frustrated by lack of information.

We are committed to working openly and transparently throughout the development process.

The wind development process can take a number of years and an issue can arise at any time which means that the proposed site proves to be unsuitable for development.

Because projects will enter the public domain at an early stage there will be lengthy periods when in depth studies are being carried out and there is little new information available. Each development will also have a tailored consultation process to proactively provide information to the public.

If you have any questions or wish to discuss the project please feel free to contact the project team at: community@pfr.co.uk or call 0131 338 6995.
