Haverigg Prison wind energy project – next community surgery to be held next week

Partnerships for Renewables will be holding the next community surgery for the HMP Haverigg wind energy project on Wednesday 28th April.

The surgery will be held between 1pm-7pm at the Haverigg Working Men’s Club on Main St, Haverigg.

Jerry Sturman, Regional Manager at Partnerships for Renewables, said: “The surgery we held in February provided us with a useful opportunity to discuss a number of important issues with those residents who popped in to see us.

There have been no major changes in the project’s development since then and environmental and technical assessments are ongoing.
