Consultation
The University of Reading and Partnerships for Renewables have been keen throughout the development process to ensure that local people are consulted and have the opportunity to get involved in the project.
In addition to this website the project team are available to discuss the development and answer your questions at any time.
We have held public exhibitions at appropriate stages throughout the development process to listen to the views of the local community. Public exhibitions have been advertised both locally and on this website.
Partnerships for Renewables hosted three public exhibitions to present details of the planning application submitted in October 2010.
Details of public exhibitions are detailed below:

- Arborfield Village Hall - Wednesday 20th October – 15:30 – 19:30
- Shinfield Parish Hall - Friday 22nd October - 15:00 – 19:00
Drop-in Days
Up until the refusal of the planning applictaion in May 2011 (in addition to other consultation activity) representatives from Partnerships for Renewables worked in a room at the Earley Community Resource Centre (Warbler Drive, Lower Earley, RG6 4HB) for one day every two months to give local residents an opportunity to discuss the ongoing work investigating the feasibility of siting wind turbines at Rushy Mead, just south of the M4 between junctions 10 and 11.
Representatives from Partnerships for Renewables were available from 11:00 to 19:00 at the Earley Community Resource Centre on the following dates in 2010:

• 27th May
• 29th July
• 30th September
• 25th November
In the event that an alternative development proposal is pursued for the site, we will resume the meetings and publicise a new round of dates to the local community.
