Partnerships for Renewables Submit Supplementary Environmental Information for Rushy Mead Planning Application
Published: 16/03/2011
Partnerships for Renewables has submitted supplementary environmental information in support of the Rushy Mead application. The additional information answers questions raised by consultees during the formal consultation process, which followed the submission of the planning application last October. Tony Duffin, from Partnerships for Renewables, said: “It is common for additional information to be provided to consultees for large planning applications such as this. We have always been committed to providing high quality information to help all consultees reach an informed opinion on the suitability of our application and we are happy to submit this additional information. “The areas covered in the supplementary environmental information include site ornithology, ecology, cultural heritage and landscape and visual work. Following the completion of this additional work we remain confident that the site is a suitable location for wind turbines and hope that consultees such as Natural England, English Heritage and the RSPB will reach the same conclusion. “We are pleased by the positive feedback our work has received from many members of the local community but recognise and respect that there are residents with concerns. We will continue to make every effort to address any concerns raised by members of the local community. “The supplementary environmental information can be viewed at the Wokingham Borough Council Offices and the Earley Community Resource Centre and is also available on the project website: www.rushy-mead.co.uk. We encourage anyone who wants to discuss the work or has any queries to call us on 0800 731 7395.”
